Explanation

After a hectic 2 and a half months now... i've got the time to sit down and carefully explain my situation to all of you and to decide where the world is going.

Starting beginning September 2011 - I had just renewed the lease of my apartment in Jersey with 2 brand new roommates. First couple weeks was a scramble for me going on job interviews to find a job to pay the bills now that I'm a fresh college graduate living completely on my own. About mid-month, I got my first job working everyday 9 am - 5 pm as an accountant in new york city. Let me tell you: it is completely physically and mentally draining to get up early, walk a mile to the train station, catch a train to new york city, walk 4 city blocks to the office through NY pedestrian traffic, then to work a full day, and come home the same way. By the time home arrives, it is just so exhausting that I haven't even gone out to the bar for awhile (which is impressive considering my roommates are still in college and I still live in a college town).

Enters beginning October 2011 - on a trip home to see my parents for my sister's birthday, my laptop (and only computer at the time) got the dreaded Blue Screen of Death virus that so many Windows computers are accustomed to. My laptop completely shut down and had to be shipped back to Lenovo so they could manually wipe it clean to start anew. In that time, I got an iPad and found it can't run AW or post to these forums (I have written this same post 6 different times only to have it randomly shut off on me mid-post). I just got my laptop back to me yesterday. Now I see there is a new version of AW, which looks good and I'm excited to try out the new features we have for the world.

I'm working on pushing some money around to get the bots back up as soon as possible, so expect bots to be back by December 16th fully (maybe tomorrow though). Right now, I need to gauge what (if any) interest is still left, from who, and how to progress storyline-wise.

Im still around from time to time. i would be interested in AWMYTHS coming back. although the GUI is different i thnk i can get used to it.

I hope to be back in AWMyths in the next couple of days. I miss all you folks.

I do not however miss troublemakers who kill for no reason and pick fights because they are bored. I have a ball bat and I know how to use it.

The strength code really needs to be fixed. If you need help I know a couple good old trusted programmers that used to work on a game of mine that are long out of the wild days of college and struggling to get to work.

No one is going to want to play here if they can't advance their stats.. thats the rudimentary time sink of most of these kinds of games.

It has been fixed to fight teh dummies for STR:

 You hit the target perfectly!
 You gained 286.14491493509 EXP in strength.
 Congratulations! Your strength is now XXX.

note: it took like 30 minutes of hitting 4 dummies and was already at 150k EXP

The problem wasn't gaining experience in STR, the problem was getting it to flip to the next level. Notice my exp is higher than what's required to level.

Strength: 126 | 46271/35305 EXP

The only way I can advance for some reason is to kill a player, or click an item.

I tried hunting as well as hitting dummies, it still won't budge. It was suggested in another thread that a temporary workaround could be a strength crystal (highly priced)

Points out the cangratulations you are level xxx... So ummmmm it levels you

The problem is that the amount needed isn't showing correctly... But for that level it is normal for that much experience before a flip... What's it is most likely showing you is your exp needed to up archery.

Eg:  Strength: xxx | 3673/44440 EXP Accuracy: xx | 27769/44440 EXP

I forget who now, but someone told me to type /str to see the correct figures, in case anyone else is having this problem
