Werewolves have a code to follow, it defines our behaviour and the way we percieve things. This Codex will help others to better understand the species called lycanthrope or the Werewolf.
A. Feeding
1. Elves are our primary humanoid food source.
2. Humans will do in a pinch though. Though not as tasty as elves.
3. Werewolves can and should also eat fruits, vegetables and grains. We too need a complete diet.
4. Be occassionally nice to elves, they may volunter to let you eat them.
B. Silver
1. Silver harming werewolves is a myth, only certain other ways may permanently kill a werewolf.
C. The Curse/Gift
1. Lycanthropy may only be passed to humans via a bite that they survive.
2. Elves are immune to Lycanthropy, though with certain rituals may be given the gift.
D. Werewolves and nature
1. Werewolves are creatures of nature, we are of the forest.
2. We are natures, forests and animals protectors.. We protect all of nature.
3. We may kill gods creatures for food or to gain strength not because we are cruel.
4. Cruelity to animals, and or cruelity to others greatly offend us.
5 Cernunnos (note different spelling) is the god of nature, the green god, the orginal giver of the gift.
6. During the day you can be either your native form or werewolf form, your decision.
7. During full moons most of us lose some of our humanity or elvism depending on your previous race.
E. The change
1. As we age in the gift we can decide to stay in half wolven form or go to full wolf.
2. During full moons we lose some of our self control we may do or say things we would not ordinarily do.
3. When you become a werewolf you are no longer Human/Elvish you are a werewolf.
4. Only the first can remove the gift if you so wish it. The first is Cernunos, the first werewolf.
F. Offensive words
1. Puppy, doggie words of that nature are offensive to werewolves...their meaning taken to be that the
person being called those names are a collared and tame werewolf, perhaps being a pet.
This codex is not the be all or endall of the science of lycantropy, werewolf, it may be added to or edited when needed.
